Our Surface Mount assembly capability
combines the latest technology and our lengthy experience of the surface mount process. Our expertise
is second to none and we are currently offering both leaded and lead-free processing.
At the forefront of our surface mount facilities is the MYDATA MY12 and the IPULSE M1 Pick and Place machines. These machines are very capable of very high throughput, having a rated speed of 22,000 components per hour. We also have the flexibility for small runs.
Other equipment used in the department includes:
- SMTech screen printers
- Blundell Plus 12 reflow oven with lead-free capability
- 3D Leica optical viewers
- Automatic Optical Testing (AOI) testing equipment, which can be used to inspect every single PCB
- Quins inspection unit
With all this technology to call on, we can work with accuracy and control, at speed. Which means we keep costs down, and pass the savings on to you.
