Our surface mount
assembly capability combines the latest technology and our lengthy experience of the
surface mount process. We were one of the first companies in the country to provide
double-sided builds, and our expertise is second to none. We are currently offering both leaded
and lead-free processing.
At the forefront of our surface mount facilities is the iPULSE M1 ‘pick and place’ machine. This six-head machine is capable of very high throughput, having a rated speed of 22,000 components per hour.
Other equipment used in the department includes:
- Tescon and Dynapert placement machines
- SMTech screen printers
- Blundell Plus 12 reflow oven with lead-free capability
- 3D Leica optical viewers
- Automatic Optical Testing (AOI) testing equipment, which can be used to inspect every single PCB.
With all this technology to call on, we can work with accuracy and control, at speed. Which means we keep costs down, and pass the savings on to you.
